This article analyzes the coverage of the history of the Baburid Empire that ruled India (17th century) in Muhammad Tahir Inayat Khan's "Shahjahannama" (Chronicle of Shah Jahan), its significance in studying the history of the dynasty, and its comparison with other works belonging to the Padshahnama series.
